8. magpie ['mægpaɪ]
n. 喜鹊；饶舌者；喜欢收藏物品的人

（2）. giving too much close attention to detail, etc. and therefore difficult to please 挑剔的
A lot of small children are fussy eaters.

be fussy / picky / choosy / particular about …
He is very fussy / picky / choosy / particular about the clothes he buys.
他对买来的衣物很挑剔。

11. a spot of ...= a small amount of …小量的
Shall we stop for a spot of lunch? 我们能停下来少吃些午饭么？
a spot of bother = some trouble小麻烦
I’m having a spot of bother with my car 我的车有一些小麻烦。
